A plain-language summary of the rules for using Locals of Texas.
Welcome to Locals of Texas — a Texas-based directory that helps people discover local businesses across the state. These Terms cover how you use the Site, how listings and claims work, and how paid plans are billed. We've kept the language as plain as we can.
You must be at least 13 to browse and at least 18 to create an account, submit a listing, claim a business, or pay for a subscription. Listings must be for real Texas businesses (storefront, service area, home-based, mobile, or online but Texas-based).
Keep your details accurate. You're responsible for the accuracy of the content on your listing — including photos, services, and contact information. We may remove or edit content that violates these Terms.
Paid subscriptions and Featured placements are billed through Stripe. Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled; cancel anytime from your dashboard and you'll keep paid features until the end of the current billing period. Featured slots run for the time window you booked.
